Previous immigration applications as a dependent and canonical list of naturalisation application questions

I have seen the following being asked in a few posts and looking for some clarification to the question "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?"

How would you answer this question if you were a dependent of a previous UK immigration application? I'm not sure if this is asking for all applications you've personally applied or if I would need to list any applications that were applied by my parents (of which I would have been a dependent). If the former, I haven't applied for anything myself, I obtained my ILR as a child through my parent's application. The only application I've applied for is NTL BRP but I don't believe this is an immigration application.

To tag on to this question, I have read through the AN guidelines. However, is there a canonical list of the naturalisation application questions available somewhere I can read and better prepare instead of having to start an actual online application?

Even if you were a dependent on previous applications you need to mention them as they are immigration applications.

Regarding your second question, is this what you are after?

Btw, the above one "To be used by people in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and British overseas territories, and by people who live elsewhere and want to apply by post." However, I'm not sure how different the online form may be. Anyways, the safest option is to start online application even if you fill in some dummy data to move on to next page to see what questions they ask.

Thanks for the clarification, in this case, the bit where they ask what name the application was applied under, it would be the name of my parent that did it, correct? Do I also need to mention I was a dependent somewhere as an additional note?

Yea, I came across that link but it was the postal application and didn't think it applied. Ok, I guess I'll just start a dummy application, thanks.

Great, thanks. Also, just to double check, would I need to provide an additional note on this that I was a dependent? Judging by the responses, it seems like it doesn't matter who applied.

I don't know if I'm the only one that has issues with the phrasing of this question but would have been clearer if it asked if you were ever "part of an immigration application" or similar. Applying and being part seems entirely different, at least in my head.

No. Your name, ALL immigration applications in UK irrespective if you were a dependent.
