FISCAL fine Scotland / NATURALIZATION

Hi,
I applied for Naturalization 5 months ago and 1 month a go I received a letter from Procurator fiscal office for a FISCAL FINE of £200 for accusation of assault of my daughter outside school. I paid the fine of £200 to avoid the hassle of going to court and paying heavy legal fees. As it was not going to be counted as conviction.

Now I have come to know that it is counted as Out of court disposal and I can be refused for my naturalization application.
I have no conviction or any other charges against me in my whole stay of 8 years in UK and was wondering to know if this can be real cause of concern. Now I wish I would not have paid the charges and should have chosen prosecution but at that time it looked the easy and economical option to pay £200.

please advise.
Thanks

If I accept an offer, does that count as a previous conviction?
No. Accepted offers are not criminal convictions. However, if you are prosecuted before a court for another offence within two years of accepting an offer, and you are convicted or plead guilty, the court can be told before passing sentence about the offer you accepted.

Out of court disposal in this case is not a criminal conviction. I think since this is not a conviction it will not impact your application. However, you should declare it to HO.

This is my personal opinion so do your own research also.

I have sent my application 5 months ago to HO and there was nothing like this at the time of application.
