British Overseas Citizenship

I wanted to know if my mother would be eligible for a BOC . She was born in Trinidad in 1955 to Grenadian parents . She never had a passport ( as a child and for most of her adult life) but she was included in her mother's CUKC passport in 1957( they travelled to Grenada to see her grandparents). My mother finally applied for a Trinidadian passport in 2015 but the Trinidadian Independence constitution in 1962 my mother would not have been a Trinidadian as it states that her father and grandfather would have to be Trinidadians by birth ( all my grandparents and great grandparents on both sides are Grenadian and Bajan). Her mother renounced CUKC citizenship in 1975 after Grenada's independence to take Trinidadian citizenship. I don't know my maternal grandfather as my grandmother divorced him and remarried in 1968 to another Grenadian living in Trinidad, who died before I was born. So all thoughts are appreciated thanks.

@secret.simon would be best placed to offer advice in eligibility.
However note that a BOC passport holder does not have the right to live and work in the UK.

That's fine. My mother would never live here I just want to explore the option for her to visit once every few years without having to apply for a visa every time. She was living her best life before covid going out to lunch every week or month with her friends and travelling to Tobago twice a year ( that's her vacation away from her grandchildren). She's a widow now but hopefully after covid she will travel more to see me and family in the USA.
