If you have a Portuguese Passport along with a Citizen card in the UK... having applying for the EU settlement after you complete your 5 years.... once the Settled status is granted, do you have to wait for a year to make a British passport or is it possible to make it right away?

12 months on settled status/ILR is mandatory to apply to naturalised as British (the process before a British passport), unless you are married to a British citizen.

thanks for your prompt reply... after the 12 months are complete.... for naturalisation is there any online link to apply for applying for british citizenship at all ?
