Advice on insufficient documents for ukvcas appointment

Hi,
I applied for Uk citizenship and have booked my appointment with ukvcas on 13th October.
Recently I have come to understand that even though I proved my English language credentials during my I’ll application in September 2015 using my degree certificate from India, I will neverthless need a naric letter.
My question is that given I will be unable to get this in time for my october 13th aappointment, should I
1. Cancel the appointment and try to book a new one ?
2. Go ahead with the appointment and see if I can send the naric letter later ?
What do you advise ?
Will I get a chance to submit documents after this appointment ?
Thank you friends,
Phoenixagain

What date did you apply?
Is your appointment free or paid?

The best would be if you could cancel and book an appointment later on (but before the deadline which is 2 months from date of application and mentioned on your further actions page @UKVI account) after you have NARIC in hand. However if you cancel now, as its less than 48 hours away, you will loose your appointment fees if cancelled.
The best approach now is, to attend your appointment so you dont loose money, add a cover letter that you will add NARIC in due course as you just realised you need one.
You will be able to send the letter via email/post only though.

Why don't you try their 24-hours fast track service? You may still be able to submit on time.

Thanks I read that their processing time is 24 hours and then they post the document, zero chance of having this for Tuesday then, I think

Still no harm in applying NOW. They can still asses tomorrow and you may get it by 1pm on Tuesday.

Worst case, at the appointment you can give them uknaric reference number. If your appointment is after 1 pm on Tuesday then someone at home can just send you a digital copy/pdf and you may still be able to submit.
You need this anyway right, so why not just go ahead and try your luck.
P.s. they sent PDFs until end of September but now back to paper versions. Not sure why they didn't stick to PDFs tbh.
