Professional referee who's current job title is different

Hi all,
I have a potential professional referee who is chartered accountant and hence in the HO list of the accepted professions. However his current job title does not have 'accountant' word in it (he does project management). Would this be acceptable for professional referee? If yes, what would I need to write in the 'Profession' field of the application for that referee: 'accountant' or his current role title?

As long he is a chartered accountant and member of a certified association, that should be okay.

If referee is a chartered accountant he should write his professional institute letters after his name (such as ACMA, ACCA, etc), and the job title where required - most accountants will have job titles which don't contain the term "accountant" - like my two chartered accountant referees.

There are two separate fields for the referee's name in the naturalisation application: name and surname. I guess those letters go after the surname? Or it should be rather in the 'Profession' field?

Mine does not have the term 'accountant' in their job title, hence question what to put there. Would just indication of the professional body (i.e. Chartered Accountant, ACCA) be sufficient?

They could write "Surname, Letters" if the field takes it.

I would still put the job title and if necessary the letters.
We shouldn't make it too complicated - hopefully this helps.
