Citizenship and ILR

Hi,
I wanted to get views if it sensible to apply for UK Citizenship, while my family members await decision for ILR.
I am eligible to apply for citizenship now (Tier 2 and ILR since last 1 year)
My family members ILR application and biometrics (submitted in August 2020 with biometrics appointment on 22 Oct 2020) have been submitted and we are awaiting decision on that.
