Hello All,

Just came across this board recently and can see helpful posts while I am applying for naturalisation.

I am currently holding an Indian passport and Master Degree certificate from one of English speaking country Sydney, Australia. I have so far applied all visa including ILR with that certificate without UK NARIC letter only and have met the requirements.

Now in Naturalisation application, no matter if I select Degree certificate or transcript they do ask if in document list for,
1) ''NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK''
2) The degree certificate to prove the level of English language require

SO is UK NARIC letter needed when I am applying for naturalisation?

Please advise.

Thank you.

If your degree was taught or researched in English

You can prove your knowledge of English by having a degree that was taught or researched in English.

If your degree is from a UK university, you only need your degree certificate.

If your degree is not from a UK university you’ll need:

a copy of your degree certificate
an Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) from UK NARIC confirming the degree is equivalent to a UK qualification.
