Hi Everyone,

I am filing for UK Citizenship for myself and 2 sons (all three of us holds EU passports and got IDL under the EU Settlement Scheme). My wife got her EEA family permit through me initially and now she also got IDL under the EU Settlement Scheme. So, I am not sure if she is still considered as dependent after getting IDL and how should I answer the question:

Do you have any dependents not applying with you. (Yes/No)

Any help is appreciated!

I assume you mean ILR - indefinite leave to remain.
In immigration terms she is "free from immigration restrictions" so not dependent on you in that respect.
I would say NO - though I understand it doesn't really matter whether you say yes or no. There doesn't seem to be any guidance on this question. YES may trigger more fields to fill in but again it doesn't make any difference to you and your sons' application.

As @alterhase58 said, there is no clarity, I also wonder if this question means dependents from immigration or financial point of view etc?

Thank you for all the replies. My wife is financially independent as well so I will just answer NO to the question.
