UK born child, lives in Pakistan since last 10 years, father gets ILR now: how to apply for visa?

My son was born in the UK in 2009, moved to Lahore, Pakistan in 2010 and lives there since then. He has his British Birth Certificate. I got my Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK in 2019. I want to apply for his visa.
Do I need to apply from the UK or can I do it from Pakistan? Also, which visa category I should apply for him? Please guide me for the process and I will be grateful for your help.

You can register your son as British Citizen via MN1 route.

Once the application is approved, you will be able to apply for a British Passport for the child.

You can apply online. Your child will have to attend biometrics appointment in Pakistan along with a responsible adult.

Choose the first option in the online form correctly to proceed.

Are you in UK?
Answer: No

Many thanks for your reply. This has been very helpful.

When I go to page 2 of the online form titled "Application", it asks for Given Name and Family Name. Does it have to be my (father's) name OR that of child's (my son's) name?

The applicant is your son not you. Its his name. You are just filling on his behalf.

One more question, I got my ILR in 2019 based on 10 years stay in the UK. I need to apply for British citizenship now. Which form should I fill to start my application? Can you please send me the weblink of the correct form? Kind regards
