British Naturalization in married name vs maiden name

Hi All
Wanted advice from someone who has been in this situation previously. My Indian passport and BRP is in my maiden name. I'm now eligible for naturalization and British passport, however would like these to be in my married name. I have an Indian marriage certificate.
I emailed UKVI and they mentioned that the name in my Indian passport, Citizenship certificate and British Passport cannot be different. So I want to ask advice. What is the best way to acquire the citizenship certificate and British passport in my married name? Is there a route without having to apply for a new Indian Passport (with married name) and change of name on BRP? As that seems like unnecessary time and money spent.
Thank you in advance.

Unless you change your India passport first, you can't. You cannot apply for citizenship and a British passport with a different name to your official documents.

Thanks for the quick reply. So I have to change both Indian passport and the name on BRP as well?
In that case is it easier to apply for British passport in maiden name and then go about applying for another British passport at a later date in married name?
I see those two as the options?

As your passport and BRP are in your maiden name, apply for naturalisation and then for a British passport using your maiden name. Once you have got a British passport in your maiden name and surrendered your Indian passport, then , at an approximate time in future, apply for a British passport in your married name.
The best time to change your name is either before your immigration journey starts or after acquiring your British passport (not even after acquiring your naturalisation certificate, but after getting the passport).
EDIT: I agree with your second post in this thread.

Your choice how you do it. No need to change brp card if apply for citizenship. But you must change your Indian passport first if you want the naturalisation cert and British passport in your married name.

First - thank you to both of you for your help. I agree and in that case, I will apply for British passport and naturalization in maiden name, get the British passport and then change to married name. Then what are your thoughts on surrendering Indian passport and applying for OCI. From what I know I will have to surrender the Indian passport immediately based on maiden name British passport. Then should I wait to apply for OCI once I have a new married name British passport?
