Hi All,

I am applying for MN1 Application for my Child and have managed to fill up the application, However I want to know if the Required Documents I mentioned are correct, Can someone please verify and help me.

Requirement Document Provided

1. Proof of Mother's Parental responsibility: Child Birth Certificate
2. Proof of Father's Parental responsibility: Child Birth Certificate

3. If Child told us that their parent settled in UK, Then provide the evidence :

BRP (Only mother's) as Father has applied for ILR and awaiting decision.


4. A letter of consent from Child's Parents : Parents Signed consent Form

5. Marriage Proof: Marriage Certificate

6. Two Referee details: First Referee - Neighbour
Second Referee - Nurse

7. Child's Passport: Indian Passport

8. Child's Birth Certificate: Child Birth Certificate


I am doubtful about Requirement Point No 1 and 2,
Also Do I need to provide Bank Statement of either parents?
For the first Referee I have mentioned as Neighbour, Is that OK or do I mention as "Father's Friend"

I have one more question on the "Referees and Identity ". on the Form, It is written as

On the back of the applicant’s photograph, please write
their full name and date of birth. The photograph should
then be glued into the space aside.

Now do I write the Name and DoB of the Child and Paste the photo, If so how would they verify that the Name and DoB is written at the back?

Ignore it. Referee forms are not updated since system went online. However, follow as it is. Keep save originals until a decision is made. Scan and upload.

There are 2 options when I am at Declaration page,

I confirm that:
(Required)

Option 1. I am the applicant

Option 2. I am a representative of the applicant and have been authorised to act on their behalf and have discussed and confirmed the contents of this application with them


So which option out of the above 2 should I use. I suppose it is option 2 but just trying to confirm.

UK birth certificate is needed only.

Also I got appointment in Birmingham(New) Crossway, 156 Great Charles Street, Queenswayx for 6th Jan.
So Shall I submit the uploaded Documents on ukvcas now or should I wait?
