Hi,

I have recently got my ILR decision(5 years route), but I have not included my UK Born children as part of my application assuming that I can apply for British Passport for them. But when I looked at the forum it's bit confusing, can someone please clarify based on my situation.

1. Child born in UK (1st 2016 and 2nd 2019)
2. ILR received in Nov 2020
3. Are they eligible to apply for a British Passport? Based on discussions with my friends, I can apply for a British passport for the Kids. Please advise on this
4. If the option 3 is not possible, what's the best option for our scenario "we don't have any plans to travel abroad for next 1-2 years"

Appreciate your support on this.

You will have to register both UK born children as British Citizens first via MN1 form. Once the application is approved and they become British, only then you can apply for a British Passport for them.
