British Citizenship error on the application form

Hi,
I submitted my application form online, and received the mandatory document checklist, where it includes `if you were a student and self-sufficient person.....must include the CSI policy`. The system did not let me continue without ticking this statement when I did my online application, however, it does not apply to me at all, I was just a part-time student while working full time for 1 year. But now for the biometric appointment, it is asking to upload as a mandatory document the policy, I was wondering if I upload a statement to explain in detail what happened and why it does not apply to me, would that be okay? I am really worried they will refuse because of this...
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Regards
Eszter

This is an "if applicable" statement - if you were a student ....
It's not an issue as your are/were a worker - there's nothing to explain - caseworkers will see you are a worker.
Just tick - you may be asked again at the appointment.

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, I was thinking the same however on the document check they insist me to upload support documents, do I do any harm if still upload this explanation?

Are you referring to your checklist? So even if you tick the box it expects a document?
In that case just load a simple informal statement saying you didn't need CSI.

HI,
it seems I just lost my passport 2 days before my biometric appointment... do you think can I still attend and use a national ID card/UK driving license card and explain what happened? The lost passport is scanned and uploaded anyway...
Thank you

Not sure. The UKVCAS will demand your original passport. You will have to explain to them and not sure if they agree. You will have to write a cover letter and explain to UKVI also. Also, attach a police report. You have declared otherwise in the online form obviously i.e. your passport is not declared lost in the online form itself and it can not be changed once submitted.

There is no requirement to inform UKVI of passport renewal - it does not impact your application which you submitted with a passport (presumably) valid at that time.
