Hello Board members,
This is in relation to registration for BC for my child.

Current Status:
I will be applying for my ILR in the month of Feb-2021 through the T2G route and my partner will be applying in the month of July-2021. We have a child (under 10 Yrs) who was born in the UK and has a TG2 dependent (PBS dependent) visa and has a Indian passport.

Question:
Is having a Foreign passport an issue while registering or am i overthinking?

Your help here will be much appreciated.

Regards,

No issue. Your UK born child can be registered as BC after at least one parent has ILR. Child having (or not) a foreign passport is meaningless for registration purpose. If child has a foreign passport, you will have to declare it though but no issues.

Also, once the child is British you will have to surrender the Indian Passport.

Hello Board members,
I will be applying for registration for BC for my child post my ILR confirmation.
With the current load on HO mostly my ILR decision will not come in time before our (child and my) visa expire.

Question:
Will overstay impact his (child's) application?

Regards,
