Will ukvas keep my wife passport and biometric card or will it be return back to her.

Yes. Supporting document smust be uploaded before her appointment.

How long does the process take in total.

Anywhere between 8 weeks and 6 months, sometimes longer, for approval. Then there are currentky delays for ceremony.
