Let me brief you about my situation

I am a British Citizen and my wife is on dependent Visa. She is pregnant and planning to go to India for maternity. I have below queries.

1, can my kid apply for UK citizenship/Passport from India
2, what are the documents required
3, Timeline for getting uk passport for the kid if he is eligible.

1. Yes, either a British Passport or CoE-RoA, assuming you were naturalised.

2. The application should specify.

yes, I was naturalized in 2014. my concern was having heard from people that it is complicated to apply passport for kids born outside uk and sometimes it can take about 6 months to get one. Since my Wife Visa expires as well so wont be able to wait for 6 months.

Please can you share links where I can get the forms and guidance on uk home office site.
