Hi All,
I have applied for ILR through 10 years Long Term route and completed by biometrics, waiting for the decision. My baby born last year and currently does not hold passport or travel documents due to covid restricion, lockdown and appointment availablity at high commision havent got in hand.
Expecting postive decision for my ILR with the grace of God, if i apply for direct british citizenship to my baby, do i really need to have passport or travel document to prove the nationality?
Please advise on this matter,

Thanks

A UK born child does NOT need a passport to register as British.

Given baby is born in UK, only UK birth certificate is enough.

Add a cover letter and explain the same. Arrange referees as per the Adult criteria. HO is not strict with referees in case of young children.
