Does home office get in touch(email) with referees in all cases on new online BC applications ?
I’m trying to find out if my application is with a caseworker or still in the queue as my referees haven’t received any emails from home office yet.

There are no cues for you to know when they start processing your application and progress with it. Once you apply, the following things may happen:

- You get an acceptance email
- You get a refusal email
- You get an email asking for a clarification or a document (rare)
