Applying for naturalization as non EU family member of dual EU/British Citizen

I am married to an Irish citizen with settled status/ILR . I am a non-EU citizen and I just got my settled status this month. I understand family members of british citizen can apply immediately for naturalisation after ILR as compared to other citizen that need to wait for 12 months before becoming British.

I am trying to avoid waiting for 12 months before I apply for naturalisation by applying for my wife's naturalisation first before mine. Once my wife become dual EU/British citizen, will it affect my naturalisation application or I should wait for 12 months before we both apply together.

You can apply immediately on or after the date of your spouse's citizenship ceremony (and after having received the naturalisation certificate), provided you meet the other requirements (ILR, absences in the past one and three years, physical presence, English language test, LITUK, etc).
