BC after Ilr as refugee

Hello!
I have applied for my BC after getting my Ilr. However, in documents required section I have been asked to prove my 5 year of continuous residency in the Uk.
Bank statements or bills are not accepted. Apparently passport is an accepted document which i don't have because i had assylum ( HO took my passport at that time )which then lead to Ilr.
The only document I have is my Brp card(Ilr) and my expired travel document which has multiple stamps of exit and entry. I have not been outside the UK for more than 3 months but my travel document was only issued in May 2016 which isn't 5 year of continuous residency proof.
I studied during that period and got the degree so letter from employers is out of context too.
My question is, what shall I provide to prove my 5 year continuous residency in the Uk? Would a statement letter explaining them be ok alongside my travel document and Brp card?
Any advice would be highly appreciated!
