Hi,

I am due to apply for naturalisation, I need info on who can be the referee?

- Company director (British)
- IT job holder working for financial company (British)

can both references from different company director ?

Hi Gurus,

I am filling the naturalisation form to submit it soon. In employment history I am asked to fill last 10 years history of work. I ordered a SAR from HMRS which tells me the the working year wise but in the application they need start and end date of employment.

I dont remember the dates, are these very important ? or I can just assume the dates of start and end?

I believe the HMRC report may not go back a far as 10 years.
However, for the naturalisation application you can enter approximate dates (month/year) and as many details as you have or can remember. This is not an issue - many applicants have incomplete details or just forgotten. For peace of mind you can attach a note explaining what you have done, and upload with your other documents.

Just need to clarify.. Do I need to put my first name and last name or the name of application i.e. my last application was ILR(LR) and prior to that was Tier1 General and so on .. as all the application I made will be on my name obviously but the application name was changed.. pls clarify it

It is your name, first and surname. Not your visa category name!

Some people change their names, ie through marriage, deed poll.

I am submitting my naturalising application. I am currently director of 3 companies but I am not currently taking salary from any companies.

In the question in application it says are you currently employed; I have put "NO" and did not specified any company information.

Do I need to to put and company info and am I employed?
