Hi everyone,
I am thinking of applying for Naturalisation, here is my immigration background

ILR 07/2014 ( based on 10 years)

Life in UK done 12/2013

IELTS done in 12/2013 for ILR 7.5 Band ( can i use the same for the naturalisation)

No criminal record. No points on licence

Got 1 CCJ in 2017 for credit card missed payments, paying regular arrangements since 2017 balance of £200 left.

3 more debts which I am paying as arrangements Council tax, credit card and utility bill coming total to around £1700, but no ccj on them.

Married with 2 kids age 9 and 4.

On basis of my background, am I OK to apply naturalisation as my credit file shows ccj n debts. What would you advice, or shall I wait for next few years.

Thanks

You will be okay. Provide proof of arrangements and that you are paying them. Best is to sort the full payments (if possible) and apply then.

I was just reading gov. uk site they have mentioned this.

If your qualification has run out
Some recognised test qualifications only last for 2 years. You can still use a B1 level qualification that you took more than 2 years ago in 2 situations.

Applying for citizenship
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK.

It does not matter if the B1 level test you took is not on the current list of recognised tests. You do not need to take another test.

Applying to settle in the UK
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if both of the following are true:

it’s on the current list of recognised tests
it was accepted for another UK immigration application, for example when you got permission to enter

Your advice please

If the test you took in 2013 and used for ILR is at Level B1 then yes you can use it. I was under the impression that it is not at Level B1 as rules changed in 2013.

Hi everyone,
I have filled my application form for naturalisation, could someone advice me regarding the knowledge of English requirement.
My solicitor advised me that I don't need to do English test requirement again as I passed my ielts ( band 7.5) for my ILR application in 2014, I can use the same certificate, is that right ? ( ielts valid for 2 years)

Unfortunately I have lost my ielts report, I tried contacting ielts but no response. Not sure if Home office can check my previous records.

Kindly advice me in my situation.
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I have completed my application form for naturalisation.
Here is the background.

ILR received 07/14 basis of 10 years( was on student visa)

Had CCJ in 2017 for missed payments, since then payment plan setup but cleared the remaining balance last week.

Did B1 level last week and done life in UK back in 2013

My questions are

I can find the record for my work history till 2013 with all dates and payroll numbers, will this be enough?

Got fine for driving on bus lane back in 2018 which I paid but got one again last week ( Manchester oxford Rd n Oxford St is confusing) do I need to mention these fines or any parking fines too.?

Do I need the court letter of satisfaction for ccj, as the letter the debt collect sent me says all balanced paid and satisfied, I still have other debts too which I am on payment plan paying since 2017 regularly ?

I am uploading current and previous passport with stamps.
Life in UK, b1 test, my family passports, CCJ satisfaction letter from debt collectors, bank statement, council tax letter, utility bills, I got letter from police stating no police records
What else I can upload to support my application if I am missing something.?

Kindly advice
Thanks
