Wrong Letter

Hi
I have received an emails from Nationality Casework Decision on 19 March 2021 addressed to myself saying that my application to naturalise as a British Citizen had now been decided and that the letter Please attached had information regarding this decision. HOWEVER the letter wasn’t in my name or my address. I have received somebody else’s letter.

I have emailed the below addresses and have not received any responses yet.

nationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk
Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gov.uk

I am very concerned not only about myself and my application but also about the implications for the person whose letter was sent to me. Not sure what else I should be doing .

Could anyone please advise?

Try also:

NationalityFrontEndTechnicalSpecialists@homeoffice.gov.uk
You will get an auto response that this is not a general inbox but it works many times.

NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk

That is the best you can do to notify HO about the error.

You may want to write to HO about the error:

Thank you - I did what you have suggested and I received today the correct letter in my name.
