please i want to ask you if i can apply for citizenship after getting domestic violence Ilr or shall i wait a year after ilr dv . I’am still married to my husband but we are separate
please note that i have completed 5 years in uk but not yet one year after ilr .
Can I apply straight away or do I need to wait 1 year after Ilr

If you are still legally married to a British Citizen and have a copy of the marriage certificate and his British Passport copy, you can apply now given you meet all the other AN requirements. You need 3 years residence in this case.

Otherwise, you can apply in your own right after waiting 1 year on ILR. You will have to prove 5 years residence in this case.
