Please can you help me!

How long do you need to wait after you have been granted ILR if you are married to a British Citizen? I am getting confused if you have to wait 1yr from the date of your ILR or you can apply for Naturalisation anytime? Also which form do I use?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can apply as soon as you hold ilr provided you meet the requirements to apply based on 3 years residence.

There is only one form. Form AN.

Thank you CR001, I appreciate you help. I was on a DL for 6 yrs before being granted ILR. With my DL they did not consider my marriage to a British Citizen which is why I am asking because I am scared to loose my money if they say I have to wait 1 year. But as you say I have more than 3 years of residence prior ILR.

If you are the spouse of a British citizen, then they will consider you as such.

Note also that the Good Character requirements covers at least ten years.
