British Citizen for approval

I would appreciate any feedback on the following:-

1. I have applied for the British Citizenship in Mid Feb 21 as a main applicant with my four children and wife. Yesterday I have received an approval for my son's registration for the British Citizen only and pending for all others. I believe review will take place for each of my dependents and I should expect separate confirmation on the application which may take upto 6 months or longer. Is this correct since I was hoping that for the ceremony the appointment date is chosen for a family instead of making an individual appointment?
2. Secondly I received a note that a payment is also required of £80 for the Oath ceremony that I paid same day for my son. However there is no acknowledgment received and my account is also not debited. I believe no confirmation will be provided and I just need to check my bank statement to make sure that payment is received. Is my understanding correct?

Thank you

It has been 2 months when I had received a confirmation from home office about my son's successful application for the naturalisation. But since then there is no further communication from home office. Not sure what would be the next steps.
Do I need to contact home office or council?

I am a main applicant and with other 5 dependents applied for the naturalization in Mid Feb 21 but no update yet for our application.
