Hello there
I am 3 years in UK with pre settled status.
I have been claimed benefits only because and while of covid19.
I have been aressted for 24 hour on suspicion of criminal act while the reality is that I havent done nothing illegal.
* Are this 2 gonna affect my naturalization negatively ?
* If i get irl/settled status can I apply with 2 month expired passport ?
After calculations my passport expires 2 month after the 12 month settled status or irl.

Asking for just out of clarification and couriosity.
Because I wanna get the citizenship

You need full Settled Status to apply.
I have been claimed benefits only because and while of covid19.
Claiming benefits to which you are entitled to has no impact on naturalisation, in fact there are no financial requirements.
I have been aressted for 24 hour on suspicion of criminal act while the reality is that I havent done nothing illegal.
Have you been charged or received cautions.

You can use an expired passport, but you will need a valid passport to apply for Settled Status.
After calculations my passport expires 2 month after the 12 month settled status or irl.
Why not get a valid passport?

The absence rules for pre-settled status are not the same as for naturalisation.

no. is there a possibility of charge for this? As i read on gov.uk its ok to be a user.
I am not fan of them or addicted. It's not my cup of tea anyways. Not even alcohol.
