I'm applying for my son's MN1 application. I need help with the below query.

1. His passport has expired in Jan 2021 issued in London. His BRP is valid till 29 April 2021.
I have provided the expiry passport details and can provide this as evidence.
Is this good enough for the MN1 application or I should have the passport extended?

2. The application asked for a national identity card. We have only his expired passport and no other identity card and have said 'No' in the application.

Please clarify the above queries that they are good for submission.

Valid passport is not a requirement. You can provide the details of expired passport and BRP.

Dear Admins,

Please can you help with the below queries.

1. Parental responsibility evidence from Father and Mother.
Is Child UK birth certificate fine as evidence as it has both mine and my wife name.

2. UK residence as optional document
Should we provide address proof or not required?

3. Under which category consent form and referee form have to be uploaded?
