Naturalisation return of documents timeline

When applying for British citizenship with a foreign passport, how long does it take to get your passport back? Or is it with them throughout the full process? Thanks in advance!

You don't send original documents by post anymore.
You apply online and upload all supporting documents digitally on the ukcvas portal.
Also, why have you registered a second username on the forum?? This is strictly not permitted.

Is this topic below under the other username not yours then?? Especially given that part of the email for the other username is very similar or almost identical to the new username registered.
