Return of Documents after First British Passport

Hi there
I submitted the required original document for my son's first British Passport, the British Passport is issued and delivered to my home. it was emailed to me that the documents will be returned separately. However, it been a week now I have not received the documents. I wonder where to contact to know about the documents or how long it may take to reach the documents back
