Naturalisation certificates after getting passports

Hello Forum,

The British passports were issued and sent for the family all right. However, for every member, I had sent to the Passport Office the foreign passport and naturalisation certificate. The children got both passports and certificates back, but for the adults, only foreign passports were returned, no natrualisation certificates. Was it a mistake? And if so, in which case, adults or children? Do people need their certificates after they get passports?

Thank you

Should be okay. Wait a bit longer.

I applied for the passports separately: several months ago for the adults and recently for the childeren. The adult documents (foreign passports only) were returned a couple of months ago, with no delays. The children's docs arrived last week, both foreign passports and certificates in one envelope. I do not think the Passport Office will send the adult certificates separately several months after the foreign passports were returned, will they?

Which means they must return the certificates back, right?
