Naturalisation Application - English language qualification

Hi
There's a question regarding english qualification on the naturalisation form:
Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013?

I got my ILR before 28 October 2013 (it was in jan 2013) and met the the knowledge of English Language (Cambridge ESOL Entry level 2 and level3) Requirement as part of ILR application.

Could you please advise as to whether this ESOL Entry level 3 is acceptable for naturalisation application?

Many thanks

You will need a new test. It must be a B1 test and SELT test provider that is on the current UKVI list.

Thanks for your response.

However On the guidance this is specified:
Those granted Indefinite Leave to Remain on the basis of a B1 qualification If you successfully made an application for indefinite leave to remain on the basis of a B1 level qualification, you would meet the English language requirement for naturalisation and do not have to pass another test.

Wouldn't that be applicable to me?

Thanks

Hi

I am in the same situation as you. Passed Cambridge ESOL Level 1 Council of Europe Level B2. The certificate was accepted when granted ILR.

Could you please update me with your situation or information regarding the matter.

Did you applied with the same Certificate?

Because as you mentioned in your post that on UK GOv it says if the certificate was accepted before than we don't need to take a new test.

Your help would be much appreciated.
