Citizenship by descent

I live in Ghana but I found out I was eligible for Citizenship By Descent. I filled out the paper work and had my Dad post the documents for me. I have been waiting since September last year for an invitation letter and I'm not even sure how I am supposed to get it, by mail ? there's a TLScontact office in Ghana and Visa Applications are made through them and not the British High Commission here, my biometrics where also taken through them.
Are they the ones supposed to receive my invitation as well ? I just need some information.

Citizenship Ceremony Invitation Letter : Still Waiting
Approval Letter Received : 12/09/2020
Approval Letter Dated : 09/09/2020
Payment Made : 08/04/2020
Bio-metrics Taken: 14/02/2020
Application Made : 27/01/2020

What form did you actually apply under? Are you expecting to attend a ceremony in Ghana or the UK? In the UK there are long delays of ceremonies following approval. If the ceremony will be at the High Commission in Ghana perhaps you could try and contact them to see what the status of ceremonies is? If you received the approval letter at your home address then the invitation should also go to you directly, or per email perhaps.

- I filled out "Form UKF".
- I expect to Attend the ceremony in Ghana.
- The High Commission does not welcome any queries they simply redirect you to TLScontact, and they in turn redirect you to the Home Office.
- The letter was addressed to my residence here in Ghana, not the UK.
- I have emailed citizenship.support@homeoffice.gov.uk on 30/03/2021 but still no reply.
I hope to receive it via email but I'm just a bit scared, the silence is killing me. I see people on this forum who applied after me (granted they are in the UK) and they have completed the process and are now citizens. Why is it so difficult to get feedback.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the poor communications from UKVI experienced by many applicants.
You could send an email to this address : NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
giving your details including application reference, and perhaps pointing out you are waiting for the citizenship ceremony in Ghana.

Thank for the information, I have sent them an email and have received an auto reply which is far from comforting but at least it's a start.
I will let you know how it goes.
