British Citizenship Q: 90d Travel Limit & Employment

Hello!

I have a questions ahead of my British Citizenship application. I'm currently ILR holder via Tier-2 Work Visa route, and in August/21 I'll be reaching 12 months mark from the ILR issuance date, so I will be applying for British Citizenship.

Q1. I've mostly used up the 90 day limit out (to be precise, 81 days) throughout March-May and been in overseas to visit parents. My sister is due to have wedding in December 2021 (outside the UK) and I want to know what are my travel options based on the application status.

Q1.1 If application gets approved by then and yet to eclipse the ceremony date, can i travel during this period for more than 9 days? or is this still capped to 9 days?

Q1.2 If application is pending, can i travel during this period? if so, the maximum i can travel is 9 days? or can i travel more than 9 days? (90 days limit minus 81 days overseas travel per the above).

Q2. On a separate question, I've received my ILR last August and quit work 3 months after that and have been studying online courses without income and using previous savings. Will this unemployment status for last 9 months jeopardise my application in any way? would getting an employment look my application better? ideally i would like to continue studying so that i have more knowledge to set up a business next year in the uk.

Thank you.

Q1. After you have applied for citizenship, you are free to travel. The 90 days absence limit applies only to the time BEFORE your date of application.

Q1.1. Unlikely you will be approved and have your ceremony date in that timeframe. There is a 3 to 6 month delay for ceremonies at the moment.

Q1.2. Yes, you are free to travel. See # Q1

Q2. Employment is NOT a mandatory requirement for citizenship.
