Child's parents consent Letter

Hello, I have applied for UK citizenship for myself and my dependent son, but I didn't notice that "Child's parents consent letter" was in the checklist. The form itself wasn't included among the downloadable documents (referees form only was listed to download). Biometrics and documents have been done and submitted by ukVcas two months ago.
The question is: Is it a mandatory document? What would you advise?
