Dear Moderators Gurus and Member,

First of all many thanks for all the help and guidance throghout my journey towards Setteled status,

Now I have to prepare to apply for british Citizenship,
Please advise;

When is the earliest i am eligible to apply for it.

I entered in Uk with EEA dependant ink stamp (FP). 21 March 2016.

I eligible for setteled status on 20 March 2021
I got settled status on 22 June 2021.

I was searching today Gov.Uk

Here i found you must be exactly 5 years in uk on the day you apply for cotizen.

I heard from other people that after Settled status need to wait for one year.

Please advise if I can apply straightway for citizenship or need to wait for one year,

In case I need to wait, what date I am eligible,

Is it 21 march 2022 or 22 june 2022,

You need to wait the full 12 mo this on settled status before you can apply. You cannot apply any earlier than 22 June 2022.

The only time you do not have to wait is if you are married to a British citizen.

You mean date after settled status is granted, not six year after entering the uk.

You need 12 full months on settled status!

You need to meet both requirements; 12 full months on Settled Status AND five years of residing in the UK.

So effectively, you can only apply on the latter of the first anniversary of being granted Settled Status or completing five years residence in the UK.

There are also other requirements (being physically present in the UK exactly five years before the date of application, English language test, LITUK test, etc) that you will need to meet.
