Tricks for booking an urgent passport appointment

Hello, this forum has been very helpful in guiding our MN1 application, in particular in tricks for booking an appointment, thanks!
We are about to receive a naturalisation certificate for a child and will have to return the ILR BRP, however we have to travel in August.
The 1-week appointments in England seem to be unavailable until 11 August. Is it known if they release new appointments at certain times? Or other tricks to apply faster? Thanks.

You will receive a registration certificate (adults are naturalised).
I don't know any tricks but for first child passport (only) there is an urgent passport application available.

Indeed, thanks for the correction.
If I understand correctly, for the first child passport, the online premium service is not available. When I try to book the fast-track 1 week service, here is the availability:

Apparently, the earlier slots become available. Does anyone know if, after booking, I will be able to reschedule to an *earlier* date in a different city? Thanks.

I contacted their support via a web chat, and they did not give me any information about finding slots. They only suggested to refresh the page, which I did frantically, and managed to find a suitable slot.
These are my speculations: they release extra slots in the morning, after which people start rebooking to those earlier slots so some previously occupied slots also become available. So it make sense to monitor the website during the morning. My experience is limited though, please correct me if you have better information.
