British Passport return of Supporting documents

How do we know when the supporting documents (original passport and certificate) are being sent after receiving the British passport? Do they tell you it's on the way? It doesn't say anywhere

I'm not sure - We're still waiting ourselves.
We received my passport and my son's passport on the 12th and 13th.
Still waiting on the supporting documents.

Update - you do get an email from HMPO stating that your documents are Out of Delivery on the day.
You can also use this site instead to track:
https://delivery.tnt.com/tracking
Just enter your postcode and application reference number which is your Passport Application number without the PEX.
When your supporting documents are on their way you should get a second box to track.
