Hi, my professional referee who used to be a manager in a multinational company has now been promoted. His title is now head of marketing. Can this person still be my professional referee? The guidance says manager or director in a company.

From my own work experience in a multi-national business managers often don't have the designation "manager" in their job title so this should be ok.
