Hi All,

I got my ILR via 10 year route in Nov 2020 and planning to apply for naturalization in Nov 2021.

Questions:
1. My Child was born in 2013 outside UK and lived in UK since then. Should the child complete his/her 10 year continous stay to be eligible for ILR first and then another 12 months to be eligible for naturalization?
2. OR I can apply for his/her naturalization along with mine?
3. OR I can apply for his/her naturalization after I get my naturalization done.
4. Any Fast Track Application options available for naturalization?

Please advice.

Thanks.

1. Child needs ilr first. What is the immigration status of the other parent??

2. No, child born abroad requires ILR first. There is no shortcut route

3. No, ilr is required for this child first.

4. No there is not.

Children born abroad need to hold ILR themselves and have at least one parent who is a British citizen or is applying to be a British citizen AND the other parent should be holding ILR.
