Naturalisation application from overseas

Morning everyone, I qualify for citizenship on August 18. I will be out of the UK for 3 weeks starting on August 13. As I understand it, it's possible to apply from overseas. But in your view, is it too risky to apply for naturalisation on the 20th? Thanks for any advice!

You should apply when you are back in the UK. You are required to list your absences, which you won't be able to do properly if you are currently out of the UK.

Thanks yes I think that's wise. I wanted to just get it done with, but best to wait a few weeks rather than take the risk.
