Hi good morning everybody
I’m new to this forum.
I need some advice regarding my daughter British passport application from Pakistan.
I become British citizen in 2014 via spouse visa route( married to British citizen).
The confusion I’m having is my daughter born from my 2nd wife in Pakistan.we got married in 2016 in Pakistan and my daughter born in 2020.
And my decree absolute finalised in 2020.
The question is if I apply for British passport for my daughter will HMPO will raise the issue that I got married in Pakistan while I was married in uk and do I have to send my marriage certificate from Pakistan with my application.
As me and my British wife was permanently separated when I got married in Pakistan in 2016.
Plz need urgent help

No problem with regards to the child's passport application.

All children born abroad to a British citizen otherwise than by descent parent are British citizens by descent and can apply directly for a British passport, including those not born in a marriage or not in a marriage recognised by the UK.

A spousal visa for your second wife will be scrutinised differently, but the child can apply for a British passport.
