Error in submitted passport application

Hi ,
I filled temporary citizenship certificate number (1234567) and issue date(today's ) to fill actua data l at the end ,but totally forget ,paid and submitted application .
Whats the best way to rectify ?
I will post certificate Nd other documents in morning .
Should I write small letter along orig documents to explain .
There is any email address where I can explain ??
OR
Any way I can correct on application ?
