I am looking for apply for BC after ILR for my spouse. With regards to referee we were thinking of providing a couple who we know for many years. Can we provide both husband and wife as two referees ? Is there any restriction that both referees should not be related to each other.

The referees cannot be rated to the applicant or to the other referee, either through blood or through marriage.

So no, you cannot use a husband and wife for both referees.

Hi,
I am applying for naturalization for my partner who obtained ILR in October last year based on BC dependent visa. I have the following documentation scanned and ready to be uploaded however just wanted to double check if I am missing anything.

- Current Passport of the applicant
- Indefinite Leave to Remain BRP
- English language Certificate
- Proof of Living in UK for last 3 years - Current Passport with all pages scanned
- Marriage Certificate
- Two referee Declarations
- Scanned copy of Partner's citizenship

Can anyone review the above list and confirm if I am missing anything ?
