I am elegible to apply for citizenship next month via tier 1 entrepreneur route.

Do i need a solicitor to apply for me? Or is it a straightforward application?

I dont want to risk it, however why pay solicitor fees if it is straightforward.

No.

Yes,if you meet all the requirements. You route to ilr is irrelevant.

Do i have to wait until 12 months have passed to apply or can i start my online application today?

You can start the application but you must not submit it until the full 12 months on ILR is complete.

I have filled out the application and signed the declaration , i have reached the payment section and stopped.

I will be elegible to apply in 1 week . so as long as i did not pay i am okay correct?

Be sure to check that you were physically in the UK exactly five years before the date you submit the application. That is the one requirement that the Home Office has no discretion to disregard.

I did not make the payment yet as i have to wait another week for my ILR to reach 12 months.

You could - if all your documents, tests and referees are in place.
Personally I would take it easy, double check you are complying with all the requirements, documents, referees, etc. A few days extra won't make a difference.

You load the referee declaration when you get them back signed. You don't need to take them to the appointment.

You must upload all documents supporting your application.
The appointment is for biometrics only unless you paid extra for anything else.
The appointment confirmation should tell you which documents to bring but it's normally just passport and BRP.
