naturalization application and payment issue

Hi ! Sorry all .
First I am new to this forum.
Well I wonder if I can get any help.
My wife and son applied for naturalisation and registration (son is minor) as they were eligible for the same on 22 June 2021 .
It was a postal application.
Home office tried to take the money of £2380.40 from my card but got declined.
Received email with case ID for my wife only not son
Received payment form from HO after few days along with acknowledgement of all the documents.
This time I paid by cheque.
Well when the cheque went for processing they wanted authorisation from me. They called me but since I was driving I couldn't answer the call.
But I realised it must be from the bank. So I checked my bank account and saw the bank debited and again credited my account. It was on 16 July 21.
I also received a letter from the bank saying advice from drawing required please represent. They could not pay the cheque because they wanted authorisation
Well then I spoke with the bank and gave them authorisation. They said they will not return but process the cheque manually on 19 July 21.
Early morning of 19 July 21 I saw there was a debit on my account with the cheque no as reference. But the bank transfered the amount as it was showing as TFR.
Now the thing is it's been more than a month my wife and son has not received any email about enrolling their bio metric.
So in this regard I would like to know what shall I do.
Can anybody help me please.
Shall I contact the HO or shall I wait. Its very stressful.
Since my money has come out from my account and the all the original documents is with the HO.
Please help.
