Hi,
Got call from the caseworker on Fri (26th August), in regards to my Naturalisation application (applied 23rdmarch 2021), that they want to see my expired passport with any travelling stamps, which I did straight away and got reply for the confirmation and said will let me know in due course the outcome.
My question is how long it's going to take from now, weeks months...

Please do not post screenshots containing UKVI caseworkers names, the attachment has been removed. You do not have their permission to post their personal information on a public internet immigration forum.

It will take as long as it needs to take. No one can tell you a definitive answer.

Hi, after almost over 4 weeks I received email about the progress, it's been over 6 months and still checks not done.
Has anyone received this letter or email and how long it took from there.
Thanks

I refer to your e-mail dated 28/09/2021, regarding your application for
naturalisation as a British citizen.
As I am sure you are aware, naturalisation is not an automatic process and we have
to make a number of enquiries before we can reach a decision on whether to grant
citizenship. One of the requirements for naturalisation, set out in the nationality law,
concerns good character. Character is not defined and a fairly broad view has to be
taken when judging whether this requirement has been satisfied.
As part of the application process, the Home Office routinely conducts checks with
other government departments and external agencies. The extent and length of time
taken to complete these checks varies according to the particular circumstance of
each application. The progress of these checks is regularly monitored.
So far, the checks have not been completed with regard to your application. As soon
as we are in a position to reach a decision we will notify you accordingly.

Considering also all the scams that we get on a daily basis by text or calls, very strange that case workers try to reach out by phone  . Most of the people don't answer unsolicited calls/texts

It's been over 10 weeks now, since I received call from lazy homeoffice, and it's been over 6 months since I applied for the application, Its really frustrating when you don't get the decision within time frame and they are even not bothered in replying emails, one of the worst service one can say is from home office.
