Hi Guys,

My spouse received her ILR status earlier on this year and is now looking to apply for British Citizenship. Her current B1 Certificate was used in the ILR application.

The B1 certificate has a issue date of 1st October 2019

Would she need to retake the B1 test if she applied for British Citizenship after 1st of October?

Also I was reading somewhere if the B1 certificate has been used in a previous application it does not expire?

I think you should be okay with the B1 test certificate you have now.

You just need to make sure that LITUK is done and passed.
