hi
If a parent becomes a British citizen and the children have ILR only.
They left the country during final year breaking the 90 day allowance .
Will they be able to apply for naturalisation ? They had to leave UK for family issues if they come back next year . will they have to start all over?
thank you
Alf

Why isn't the child applying for citizenship at the same time as you?
Was your child born in the UK?

Are you referring to the child being absent from the UK for 90+ days?
If so absence levels don't apply for children registration, only for adult naturalisation.
Parents' absences are irrelevant.

The parent became British last month. the children have ILR .. The whole family left the UK but will return after 10 months .
Can the children apply at that point? or do the children have to wait a whole 3 years of residency?
thanks

The wait period 3/5 years are for adults - does not apply to children's registration (MN1).
